Scripture: I HAVE COME LOOKING FOR FRUIT ON THIS FIG TREE WITHOUT FINDING ANY. CUT IT DOWN! WHY DOES IT EVEN USE UP THE GROUND? (Luke 13:7).
In business, there is time to make some hard decisions about when to cut our losses on a project.
Not everything we try, no matter how well conceived, thought out, and executed, will accomplish our goals.
We must determine when it is wise to stop parting more energy and resources into a project that just isn’t working out.
Establish a time frame in which to achieve your goals and set a maximum dollar loss you can afford.
If you don’t, unsuccessful initiatives have a way of continuing and acquiring a life of their own. They become like a friend of mine’s definition on his boat “A hole in the water lined with wood into which I pour money”
HE WHO TILLS HIS LAND WILL HAVE PLENTY OF BREAD, BUT HE WHO PURSUES VAIN THINGS LACKS SENSE (Proverb 12:11)
