Scripture: “Be DILIGENT to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed” ( 2. Timothy 2:15)
Today’s thought: Self-Growth and Continuous Improvement
Many of us want to grow, but few are willing to pay the price of self-growth — spending time on the right, good habits, self-learning, reading, broadening our knowledge, investing in education, humbly evaluating ourselves, and continually striving to improve performance.
Self-growth depends not on others (people, external factors, or chances) but on ourselves first.
Start by asking the question: “What have you done to help yourself grow today?”
Effective managers and executives accept no excuses for failing to continually improve their job performance. Those who do not learn and grow will eventually be left behind.
It’s time to change, to grow, and to allow your future to be shaped by God’s blessing plan.
Commitments for Growth
- Commit yourself not to overspend hours on social media consuming unhelpful content.
- Commit yourself to reading at least one personal growth or business book every three months. Especially invest in self-learning related to your work so you can practice and produce greater value and results.
- Unsubscribe from unhealthy or unproductive video channels.
- Subscribe to and read at least one trade magazine and one general business magazine each month.
- Attend one or more seminars each year designed to update your knowledge and improve your business or professional skills.
- Expose yourself to new ideas and different viewpoints.
Stay Current and Adapt
Do not resist market trends; instead, learn how to manage and adapt your knowledge to stay ahead.
For example, rather than going against AI, learn how to manage and use it effectively to streamline manual work.
You may think you don’t have time, but you can’t afford not to make time for activities that help you grow professionally.
Failure to stay current allows competitors to gain the upper hand and reach your customers first.
It takes repeated sharpening to keep the edge of the sword ready for battle.

THOSE WHO GAIN UNDERSTANDING,

AND YIELDS BETTER RETURNS THAN GOLD.
